North Miami is a strategic residential renovation built on selective intervention. Instead of reworking the floor plan, we identified where investment would change the experience most and concentrated there: custom millwork, wood feature walls, new wall finishes, furniture, and lighting. The existing proportions stayed. Everything around them was brought into one material language of warm wood, soft neutrals, and sculptural forms. The result is a home that feels fully considered, achieved with precise decisions and minimal construction.

Client Goals:

Elevate the existing residence without a full renovation. The priority was to direct investment toward the interventions with the greatest visual and functional impact, while respecting the home’s architecture and avoiding unnecessary changes.

Scope included custom millwork, built-in cabinetry and shelving, feature wood walls, paint and finish updates, furniture and bedroom furnishings, dining furniture, decorative and architectural lighting, and art and accessory styling.

Key Highlights:

  • Strategic renovation: Targeted interventions elevate the home without altering the existing floor plan.

  • Custom millwork: Built-ins, media walls, shelving, and cabinetry designed to the proportions and function of each room.

  • Wood feature walls: Large-scale wood elements give the rooms architectural presence, depth, and continuity.

  • Wall finish transformation: New color and tone reset the atmosphere and create a cohesive backdrop across spaces.

  • Furniture selection: Sofas, beds, accent seating, and dining pieces specified for scale and their relationship to the millwork.

  • Lighting: Pendants, chandeliers, and accent fixtures introduce warmth and define focal points.

  • Bedroom transformation: Custom wall compositions, new beds, integrated lighting, and refined finishes complete the private spaces.

  • Styling: Art, books, and objects add personality while staying integrated with the architecture.

  • Preservation through intervention: What already worked was kept, so resources went where they had the most impact.
